We are looking for talented and experienced AM & PM Pastry Cooks (Flexible schedule a PLUS!) with a passion for their craft, who are also dedicated and eager to be a part of Launderette’s already amazing team! Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right people! Launderette is an award winning restaurant and has been featured in The New York Times, Food and Wine, Texas Monthly, and Bon Appetit, and was a Finalist for Best New Restaurant in 2016 by The James Beard Foundation. Launderette offers a variety of seasonal and classic dishes in a warm, inviting, and super fun East Austin setting. Pastry Cooks will have the opportunity to work with Executive Pastry Chef Laura Sawicki, a 4-time Semifinalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef by The James Beard Foundation. In 2012, Sawicki was also named one of Food and Wine Magazine’s Best New Pastry Chefs.
