Plan, direct and oversee the Beverage Program at MAX's Wine Dive; including inventory, setting goals, ensuring product and service standards are always being met. Responsibilities included but not limited to: Oversee staff training and development Conduct multiple educational Wine Classes per week Champion the growth and development of the service team by setting standards and testing Ensure that quality and service standards are met Communicate company policy, standards and procedures to staff and ensure they are followed Conduct weekly inventories while implementing and maintaining procedures for maximum operating efficiency Plan and implement cost control measures Perform a variety of restaurant-related tasks, Manager on Duty responsible for both FOH and BOH restaurant operations including opening and closing the restaurant and working nights, weekends and holidays on a regular basis. Skills and Experience: Wine knowledge and PASSION a MUST! Court of Sommeliers Certificate or WSET certificate highly preferred. 3 + years of management experience preferred Bar Management experience and cocktail and spirit knowledge. Proficiency in liquor, beer and wine inventory required.
