The LINE ATX will offer four distinctive dining and drinking experiences including three restaurants and bars and a coffee shop. The hotel’s main dining experience Arlo Grey will be led by Top Chef winner Chef Kristen Kish, on the roof P6 will feature Chef Damien Brockway, and on the corner of South Congress and Cesar Chavez, Executive Chef Justin Ermini will head up Bridge & Trail. Cult-favorite Alfred Coffee will open up shop in the lobby.
The LINE ATX is seeking a dynamic Bartender to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.
*Greet every guest with a smile and maintain eye contact
*Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
*Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes adhering to the proper dress code when working
*Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
*Has full knowledge of menu items, their ingredients and preparation techniques
*Responsible for accurately entering orders in the POS system and in a timely manner
*Anticipate guest needs, including pre-bussing, re-ordering, check delivery and payments and ensure overall guest satisfaction
*Follows alcohol awareness procedures and policies
*Give a warm and pleasant farewell to guests and invites them to return
*Keep station clean, sets up and takes down station appropriately
*Take ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guests
*Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
*Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
*Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions

*High-School diploma or GED required.
*One-year hotel or related experience preferred
*Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language

*Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet
