Beer Servers are responsible for timely and accurate service by attending to beer needs in a timely, helpful manner by guiding our guests though the menu and all seasonal offerings. Practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with state and local laws and Zilker Brewing Co. policies.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures that all guests have an AWESOME experience, and are EXCITED to come back.
Explain our draught beer offerings to guests which may include informing them of ingredients, the brewing process, and answering general questions.
Follow alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests.
Ensure a clean and well-stocked taproom.
Perform shift change and/or opening or closing duties.
Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to operate POS, make change and accurately conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at the end of each shift.
Able to stands/walk for 100% of shift.
Able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
Able to lift 55+ pounds
A knowledge of beer and the brewing process is not required but preferred.
